We work closely with academically educated, sworn and very experienced translators with a variety of specialisations. All these translators have at least ten years’ professional experience. To guarantee the quality of our translations in all professional areas, our agency is limited, in principle, to English, German, and French. We do consider requests for translations into and out of other languages. We can also serve as an intermediary for such translations.

Our general approach to a job is as follows.
 

• After we have spoken to the customer regarding the nature and content of the text, the desired language combination, the degree of urgency and any other requirements or wishes, the job is accepted, confirmed and planned.
• Any uncertainties in the text or passages that need further explanation are identified and discussed with the customer well in advance of the deadline. 
• Any errors or inconsistencies identified in the source text are reported to the customer with suggestions for correction. The express aim of this process is to satisfy the customer’s expectations for a professional translation.
• Open consultation, a proactive approach and optimum communication are—along with quality—the foundation of our services.

Sworn translations

Proprietor P. de Vlaam is a sworn translator in English and is registered with the Bureau Beëdigde Tolken en Vertalers (Bureau of Sworn Interpreters and Translators) in 's Hertogenbosch under number wtbv2366. He is also a member of the largest and oldest professional organisation for translators, the Nederlands Genootschap van Tolken en Vertalers (Dutch Society of Interpreters and Translators or NGTV).
